High Roller Technologies Nears Launch of U.S. Prediction Market

High Roller Technologies is advancing towards the launch of its U.S. prediction market, ROLR, with CEO Seth Young announcing that the company is in the final preparations.

In a recent Q&A with Gambling Insider, Young confirmed that the necessary regulatory approvals are secured and technology development is almost complete. “We’re set to launch this year,” he stated, emphasizing that they have a target date in mind, although it hasn't been publicly disclosed yet.

Young expressed optimism about revealing the exact launch date soon, noting that the majority of the regulatory and tech groundwork is finished. High Roller overcame a significant regulatory challenge in June when its subsidiary, ROLR US LLC, became a member of the National Futures Association and registered as an Introducing Broker.

As an Introducing Broker, ROLR will be able to onboard customers without holding their funds, a responsibility that will fall to Crypto.com FCM, which will also supply the necessary trading infrastructure. Young mentioned that this structure was chosen to expedite their market entry by bypassing potential licensing delays.

On the product front, High Roller has partnered with DeepEther Labs to develop the customer-facing ROLR app and its integrations with Crypto.com. This agreement grants High Roller ownership of the ROLR app and extensive rights to the underlying technology.

Young described the technology's readiness as nearly complete, with the final major step being the submission to the App Store, which he described as a challenging process.

The partnership with Crypto.com provides ROLR with immediate access to a liquidity pool, facilitating a quicker market entry. Although High Roller will be exclusive to Crypto.com in the U.S. for 24 months starting in April, this exclusivity does not extend internationally, allowing the company to explore additional regulatory options.

At launch, ROLR will adhere to Crypto.com’s compliance framework. This launch is part of a broader strategic shift for High Roller, which is prioritizing prediction markets as a key growth area while scaling back on other legacy operations. Young highlighted the immense potential of prediction markets, calling them “the biggest opportunity” he has encountered in his two-decade career.

With the technology nearly finalized and compliance measures in place, High Roller is poised to make significant strides as it approaches the launch of ROLR.
