Hard Rock Bet has officially entered the international gaming scene with its launch in Ontario, Canada, marking a significant milestone for the brand.
On July 22, Hard Rock Digital (HRD) introduced its online casino and sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet, in Ontario, which is the company’s first venture outside the United States. The choice of Ontario is strategic, given that Hard Rock already operates a hotel and casino in Ottawa.
Ontario players can now access Hard Rock Bet through both Apple and Android devices, as well as via its desktop platform. The site boasts an impressive selection of over 3,000 casino games alongside sports betting options.
Marlon Goldstein, CEO and Executive Managing Director of HRD, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, “Expanding into Ontario with Hard Rock Bet marks the first time we’ve brought our platform to an audience outside the US. We’re excited to introduce Ontario players to a premium entertainment experience that reflects the energy and service synonymous with the Hard Rock brand.” He also highlighted the company’s commitment to investing in local talent and partnerships to enhance the player experience.
While Ontario is the initial focus, Hard Rock Bet is also operational in New Jersey and Michigan, with its sportsbook available in several states including Arizona, Colorado, and Virginia. The platform offers players access to Legendary Reward Drops, a rewards program featuring weekly guaranteed promotions.
Despite the successful launch, Hard Rock Bet has not disclosed any immediate plans for expansion into Alberta, which recently opened its online gambling market. A spokesperson for HRD mentioned that the focus remains on providing an exceptional experience for Ontario players, considering this market an important milestone for the company.
Looking ahead, HRD is planning to launch enhanced marketing campaigns and creative initiatives in early August to build on the momentum from this launch.
