In July 2023, Foxwoods Resort Casino achieved a remarkable $32.9 million in slot revenue, resulting in an $8.3 million contribution to the State of Connecticut under the agreement with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has contributed over $4.9 billion from Foxwoods' slot revenues to the state's budget.
During July, the casino distributed more than $21.1 million in jackpots, with over 3,000 jackpots awarded across its gaming floor. The largest jackpot of the month was a substantial $160,000 on the Double Top Dollar machine, while an IGT Wheel of Fortune slot produced an impressive $1.2 million progressive jackpot.
On July 4, Foxwoods set a Guinness World Record for the highest payout in a bingo game at a single venue, awarding a staggering $440,000 during its Firecracker Bingo event.
This month also saw the debut of The Innovation Zone, which introduced a variety of new slot and table games. Featured games include Destroyer – Naval Strike, Cosmic Crash, Battle 1-2-3, and Jackpot Blitz, along with high-limit slots such as Thunder Empire and Spooky Link series.
Additionally, Foxwoods expanded its slot offerings with new titles like Zitro Fantasy and Brave Dragon Wutai. Other notable additions included AGS’s Diamond Nudge and Gold Nudge at The Fox Tower, as well as Light & Wonder’s Monster Jackpots, featuring themes like The Mummy and Frankenstein Returns, at the Great Pequot Tower.
Owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, Foxwoods Resort Casino is located on their reservation in Ledyard, Connecticut. The expansive 9-million-square-foot resort houses six casinos, over 250 gaming tables, and more than 5,500 slot machines, alongside two hotel towers with a total of 2,228 rooms and an arcade for younger guests.
In June, Foxwoods reported a slot revenue of $28.1 million and contributed $7.2 million to the state. Guests enjoyed over $15.8 million in winnings from 2,521 jackpots, with the largest payout being $95,738 on the Blazing 777 2x3x5x machine.
