FanDuel Canada is set to unveil its Casino and Sportsbook platform in Alberta on July 13, pending regulatory approval, marking the addition of a fourth province to its Canadian operations.
Players aged 18 and above in Alberta can register now at www.FanDuel.ca. Once the platform goes live, it will offer both novice and seasoned players access to resources like Casino 101 and Sports Betting 101, along with information on responsible gaming tools.
“Alberta signifies an exciting new chapter for FanDuel Canada, and we are eager to provide our top-notch Casino and Sportsbook experience to players throughout the province,” stated Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada.
“As we prepare to enter this new market, our commitment to delivering an exceptional entertainment experience and engaging with the community remains central to our mission,” he added.
In conjunction with the Alberta launch, FanDuel Canada has renewed its multi-year partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL). This renewed agreement expands the operator's footprint in Alberta, adding Casino as a new category alongside its existing sportsbook offerings. The 113th Grey Cup is scheduled for November 15, 2026, at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
Additionally, FanDuel has formed an exclusive partnership with Light & Wonder to introduce the Huff N' Puff slot franchise to players in Alberta, pending regulatory approval.
FanDuel Canada is also the title sponsor of the Cowboys Stampede Showdown Charity Poker Tournament, which benefits the Calgary Stampede Foundation. To date, the tournament has raised over $1.3 million for the foundation, with the 2026 event achieving a record total of $260,000.
In support of mental health initiatives in Alberta, FanDuel will donate $50,000 to the A Dollar A Day Foundation. Over the last three years, the company has contributed $150,000 to this organization, which funds programs in Ontario and Alberta.
Furthermore, FanDuel will provide an additional $30,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Management Program in Alberta, aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness and community recovery efforts.
