New Rules for Blocking Unlicensed iGaming Sites in Armenia

Starting February 8, 2027, new regulations for blocking websites of unlicensed iGaming operators will come into effect in Armenia, according to the State Revenue Committee.

These amendments have been made to the law regulating gambling activities and related laws. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) reports that the changes will refine the mechanism for the technical blocking of such websites through communication providers, as well as impose restrictions on the dissemination of their advertisements.

Details regarding the new mechanisms have not been disclosed in the regulator's announcement.
