The Armenian government has officially transferred the unified online control system for the gambling market to the company System Analysis and Monitoring of Games, which is registered in Yerevan and fully owned by the Maltese firm Random Systems International. This company specializes in supervisory systems for gambling regulators.
The decision grants the company the official status of a gambling regulation operator. The regulator was selected following an open tender, and the contract is set for a duration of 15 years.
After the resolution comes into effect, there will be ten days to sign the contract with the State Revenue Committee (SRC). The company will then have six months to implement the electronic system.
