Duelbits, a prominent crypto casino, fell victim to a hacking attack on September 24, resulting in the theft of approximately $7 million from the operator's hot wallets. This was confirmed by co-founder Joe Dixon on his X profile.
As a precaution during the investigation, the operator's website has been taken offline. However, Dixon assured that user funds remain safe and unaffected.
Blockchain analysts from PeckShield reported a suspicious withdrawal of $4.3 million across the Ethereum and BNB Chain networks. The hacker subsequently exchanged these funds for 1,600 ETH, valued at around $4.2 million.
Duelbits has announced that they are in the process of restoring their deposit and withdrawal servers, with plans to resume website operations within the next 15 hours.
