Delaware North has officially introduced Ember Casino in New Jersey, marking the initial step in a comprehensive rebranding initiative aimed at consolidating the company's digital gaming operations under a unified brand.
The hospitality and entertainment firm revealed its strategy to transition its current digital gaming activities from the Betly brand to Ember, which will be implemented in both existing and future markets. Additional brand integrations and market expansions are anticipated throughout the year.
Jason Gregorec, President of Gaming for Delaware North, stated, "Ember signifies a new era for our gaming division. We are developing an interconnected platform that merges our online and physical gaming expertise, ensuring a smooth experience for players while positioning us for sustainable growth in competitive regulated markets."
New Jersey, recognized as one of the largest regulated online gaming markets in the U.S., will be the launchpad for Ember's extensive rollout plan. In 2025, online casinos in the state reported nearly $2.9 billion in gross gaming revenue, with Delaware North noting ongoing growth within the sector.
To celebrate the launch, Ember is rolling out a Play to Earn promotion designed to enhance early player engagement. Eligible participants will have the chance to earn entries for prize drawings that include a Toyota GR86, a Ford Mustang, and a Ford Bronco during the initial launch phase.
Ember Casino is powered by Playtech and features the supplier's responsible gaming tools, such as BetBuddy. The platform boasts a diverse range of online casino offerings, including slot games and live dealer experiences, all supported by real-time gameplay and streaming technology.
Furthermore, Delaware North has recently strengthened its partnerships with content providers like IGT, White Hat Studios, and Light & Wonder to bolster the Ember launch and future market growth. The company also collaborates with Vegas Kings for platform design and AquireBet for user acquisition and experience enhancement.
Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Gaming Officer for Delaware North, remarked, "Our goal has always been to provide outstanding experiences. These collaborations are driving our growth in the digital gaming sector with the same level of precision, personalization, and innovation that our players expect."
Delaware North manages a gaming portfolio that spans seven U.S. states and Australia. Additionally, the company serves as a developer and gaming and hospitality consultant for the Catawba Nation's $1 billion casino resort project in North Carolina.
The launch of Ember Casino aims to facilitate Delaware North's growth in digital gaming as it endeavors to unify its online operations under a single brand across regulated markets.
