The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) has decided to withdraw from participating in the SBC Summit in Lisbon. This decision comes as the regulator focuses on investigating a recent incident involving unauthorized access to its online licensing system.
In addition to its withdrawal, the CGA has filed complaints with both national and international authorities regarding illegal data collection. Furthermore, the regulator is considering legal action against cybersecurity expert Lilith Wittmann from Berlin.
Wittmann herself took to her X profile to make a sarcastic comment about the situation, stating that the regulator had to cancel its vacation in Lisbon. She also offered to work at the CGA booth instead of the regulator, proposing to assist its clients with licensing applications, branding herself as an expert in licensing in Curaçao.
