The Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center is set to open its doors in mid-November, ahead of the initially planned date, thanks to a quicker-than-anticipated construction process.
This $275 million project marks the largest casino investment in Iowa and has also revealed its inaugural lineup of entertainment acts. Originally, the casino was expected to commence operations later in the year.
Stefan Huba, Chief Development Officer at Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, expressed gratitude for collaborating with various Iowa contractors and trade unions on the construction. He noted, “A solid plan, quality architecture, strategic procurement, local labor, and favorable weather conditions have all contributed to keeping the project ahead of schedule.”
The event center is projected to host over 100 shows each year, showcasing a mix of national, regional, and local talent.
The concert series will kick off with The Pork Tornadoes on November 25. Other notable performances include Old Dominion on December 5, Steve-O on December 12, and Eli Young Band on January 22, 2027. Additional acts slated to perform include Switchfoot, James
