The Federal District Prosecutor's Office (MPDFT) in Brazil has been investigating since June whether the provider Spribe is offering its crash game Aviator to both licensed operators with the .bet.br domain and illegal operators in the country, according to reports from Metrópoles.
In response to the agency's claims, Spribe stated that it conducted an audit of the domains mentioned by the prosecutor and removed its original games from them. However, the publication noted that the prosecutor subsequently found ten new websites of illegal operators in the country featuring Aviator in their gaming portfolios.
On July 1, the prosecutor continued the investigation, indicating that the provider only reacts to claims after the fact, as if the placement of its game on illegal sites is not its responsibility.
The agency is also examining potential violations related to misleading advertising, discrepancies between the stated RTP and actual returns, and bonuses that contradict the Ministry of Finance's regulations. Previously, the prosecutor recommended that the SPA regulator suspend the certification of Spribe's games until the provider ceases to supply games to illegal operators. Additionally, the telecom regulator Anatel was advised to block the domains of such sites. The prosecutor will submit evidence regarding the ten new sites to the SPA, which will need to decide on the recommendation to suspend the certification of the provider's games.
