In Russia, bookmaker Betcity mistakenly credited a client with 14.4 billion rubles in free bets, according to the Telegram channel 'Kruzhok Betting'.
As reported by the channel, the player managed to wager and withdraw 200,000 rubles (approximately $2,600) before the operator blocked the account and reset the free bets.
After the channel's inquiry, the account was restored.
Betcity stated that the incorrect bonus issuance was due to a technical glitch, and after completing an internal review, all restrictions on the account will be lifted.
