During a recent meeting with government members, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko criticized local advertising practices in the gambling industry. He specifically recalled the slogan "Spin the Goose" from the advertising campaign of iGaming operator Maxline and mentioned operator FONBET.

President Lukashenko expressed concern that the country has turned into a casino and instructed officials to further investigate the operations and advertising within the iGaming sector.

He emphasized that the tax contributions from operators do not grant them the right to saturate the country with advertisements. Additionally, he noted that inspections revealed significant sums of money leaving the country.

In response to the president's remarks about the regulation of the sector, the head of the administration, Dmitry Krutoy, stated that the industry is indeed regulated, and Lukashenko tasked him with addressing the issue.
