On April 12, the Bali police conducted a raid that resulted in the arrest of four suspects involved with the iGaming websites KETUA.CO and GN77. Preliminary reports suggest these sites are part of an international iGaming network connected to Cambodia.
Among those arrested were three students from Manado, around 20 years old, who worked as call center operators, and a 31-year-old resident of Jakarta responsible for customer support. Two of the suspects had previously participated in similar schemes in the Philippines and Cambodia and returned to Indonesia after police raids abroad, resuming operations in Bali in January 2026.
According to the director of cyber investigations for the Bali police, the group was making daily calls to 300-400 Indonesian numbers and distributing links to iGaming applications, enticing users with bonuses. The suspects primarily accepted deposits through virtual accounts in local banks.
The police discovered the group during a cyber patrol, with the raid taking place on Pratama Street in the Benoa area of Badung. Authorities seized four laptops and five mobile phones at the scene. The suspects have been charged under Article 426 (1) of the Indonesian Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to 9 years in prison.
