The Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Azerbaijan has arrested four individuals accused of organizing the operations of offshore online casinos in the local market.
According to the investigation, the suspects managed the admin panel of the Azerbaijani segment of online casino websites that operate outside the legal framework of the country. During searches at the addresses of the detainees, law enforcement officials seized electronic devices, more than 200 bank cards, and mobile numbers.
The court has chosen to impose arrest as a preventive measure for two of the suspects, while the investigation continues for the other two.
