The Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Azerbaijan has arrested a group of five individuals, led by Zaur and Fuad Narimanov. This group was involved in organizing illegal betting and providing access to online casinos through banned iGaming operators Xbet and MostBet.
According to the Main Department, the illegal financial turnover of the group amounted to $5.88 million.
Investigators revealed that the group conducted betting operations via the Telegram channel AzeCash. To facilitate their activities, the accused rented an apartment in the Khatai district of Baku, where they housed employees and provided them with bank cards, mobile phones, and technical equipment.
