German Regulator Fines Rapper Capital Bra €250K for Gambling Ads

On April 18, the German regulator GGL imposed a fine of €250,000 on rapper Capital Bra (Vladislav Balovatsky) for failing to comply with a prohibition order to cease advertising illegal online gambling. This action took place during his concert at the Euro Palace club in Wiesbaden, with the assistance of the West Hesse police.

Previously, the rapper ignored hearings and the order that threatened him with a fine. The regulator initiated proceedings regarding the advertisement of illegal gambling in October 2025.

According to GGL, Capital Bra promotes illegal iGaming operators through regular game streams on their websites, posts of broadcast recordings on his social media, banner advertisements, and his own review site featuring such operators. iGamingExpert found that the rapper has a Twitch channel named capitalbra, through which he promotes an affiliate review site, capibonus.com, listing the best online casinos. Notably, none of the top five casinos on this list are included in GGL's whitelist.
